Gardai investigating after motorcyclist killed in two vehicle crash in Tipperary

GARDAI in Borrisokane are investigating a fatal two vehicle road traffic accident on the N65 at the junction near Killeen on the outskirts of the town in Co Tipperary.



























A male motorcyclist in his 20s was fatally injured when he was involved in a collision with a car – he was pronounced dead at the scene and his body removed to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital in Limerick.







According to Gardai, the driver of the car was uninjured.







The road is currently closed pending completion of an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.







Gardai have appealed for witnesses to contact Borrisokane Garda Station on 067-27101, the Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
