AN 83-year-old woman was killed last night when her car crashed into a wall as she was driving alone.
Gardai in Roscommon are investigating the accident that happened just before 5pm at Carrowphadeen in Lecarrow.
The 83-year-old woman was taken to Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe where she was later pronounced dead.
Gardai have appealed for witnesses.
