Gardai have arrested a woman in connection with the discovery of the body of Vincent Maher in an apartment in Finglas last weekend.

The woman in her early 20s was arrested this afternoon.

She is currently detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939, in Finglas Garda Station.

The body of Mr Maher was found in his apartment on Wellmount Road in Finglas on Saturday, January 11.

Mr Maher (29), a father-of-one, died after being beaten to death after a row over broken furniture in the flat.
