Gardai appealing for witnesses after woman killed by car in Cork

GARDAI are appealing for witnesses after a woman was killed when she was hit by a car.

Regina Kennedy, 37, of Blarney Street in Cork, died at the scene of the collision in Carrshill, Douglas, in the early hours of Monday.

Officers are anxious to speak to anyone who could help trace her movements on Sunday night.

Ms Kennedy, formerly of Edgeworthstown in Co Longford, was last seen in the South Mall area of Douglas at around 10.30pm.
