Gardai appeal for witnesses of serious assault in Dublin which has left one man (26) critical

Gardai are appealing for witnesses of a serious assault in Dublin almost two weeks ago to come forward.

The assault occurred on the South Circular Road, close to the Suir Road and Bulfin Road junction, Kilmainham, Dublin 8 on Sunday 19th July 2015 at around 10pm.

Three men received stab wounds during the incident which involved around six people.

One man (26) remains in a critical condition at Saint James’ Hospital.

The other two men (both 19) received minor injuries.

Three people - two women (both 24) and one man (30) - have been arrested in connection with this investigation.

All three were detained at Pearse Street Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 and were released without charge.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information, particularly those who were travelling through the area between 9.45pm and 10pm on 19th July 2015 to contact Kilmainham Garda Station on 01 6669700, The Garda Confidential Line 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.
