Gardai appeal for witnesses after man (19) killed in road accident

GARDAI in Clifden, Co Galway are investigating a single vehicle car collision that occurred at about 2am this morning.

It occurred on the R344, Inagh Road, (road connecting Galway - Clifden Road (N59) and Kylemore) Co Galway,

A 19 year old male was fatally injured when the car he was a passenger in left the road, Gardai said today.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body removed to UCHG.

The other five people in the car were taken to UCHG with injuries described as not life threatening.
