Gardai appeal after teenager dies following road accident

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision which occurred on January 17 in Clondalkin, Dublin.

An 18-year-old girl was struck by a car on the Fonthill Road adjacent to the pedestrian crossing from St.Johns’s Estate at approximately 9.05pm that night.

The pedestrian was seriously injured and taken to Tallaght hospital where she died yesterday as a result of her injuries.

Investigating Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who has any information to contact Clondalkin Garda Station on 01- 666 7600, the Garda Confidential Line 1-800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
