Garda Bureau of Fraud arrest two men over €4m investment fraud

TWO men have been arrested by gardai as part of an investigation into a €4m investment fraud.
The investigation, assisted by the Criminal Assets Bureau, is related to investment fraud and related money laundering.
Both men, aged in their 30s and 40s, were arrested in the Dublin area yesterday morning.
They were both detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Blanchardstown Garda Station and were released without charge late last night.
A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
As part of the investigation the Garda Bureau of Fraud Investigation has frozen a significant amount of monies held in various bank accounts.
