Gardaí appeal for witnesses to fatal collision in which man (46) died

Gardai have appealed for witnesses to a fatal traffic collision which resulted in a man losing his life.

They have repeated their appeal following the collision on Thursday, September 15.

The collision occurred on the N11 between Wexford Town and Enniscorthy shortly before 5pm.

A motocyclist, aged 46, lost his life when his bike was involved in a collision with two cars.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to University Hospital Waterford where a post mortem is to be arranged.

Three other people involved in the collision, a man and woman, both mid-thirties and a young boy were taken to Wexford General Hospital as a precaution. No other injuries were reported.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information, particularly those who were travelling on the N11 between Enniscorthy and Wexford town on the evening 15th September 2016, are asked to contact them at Wexford Garda Station on 053 9165200, The Garda Confidential Line 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.
