Gardaí appeal for witnesses following death of woman (69) struck by car

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following the death of a 69-year-old woman who was struck by a car on Thursday morning.

The collision occurred on Grange Road, Donaghmede on Thursday morning at 10.05 a.m. The woman was brought to Beaumont Hospital with serious injuries and died on Friday evening.

The male driver and female passenger - both in their late 60s - of the car were uninjured.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information, particularly those who were in the area of the Holy Trinity Church or the Donaghmede Shopping Centre to contact them at Coolock Garda Station on 01 - 6664200, The Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
