Gangster John Gilligan's last property to go on market for €120,000
The final lot in the property portfolio built up by former gangland boss John Gilligan will go on the market for €120,000 after the bank holiday weekend.
Gilligan's empire, built from years of drug trafficking, was dismantled by the Criminal Assets Bureau.
Last June, the Supreme Court rejected his final attempt to hold on to his remaining properties, including a bungalow beside Jessbrook Equestrian Centre at Enfield, Co Meath.
The equestrian centre had already been seized and sold off by the bureau.
Fiachra McGrath, of auctioneers REA McDonald, of Lucan, said it had received instructions to put the bungalow on the market in the coming week.
The property stands on 5.6 acres.
