GARDAI are hunting a gang who drove a digger into a rural post office during a botched raid today.
The vehicle was used to ram the door of a post office in Cahir, Co Tipperary, just after 5am.
It’s understood that a number of men were trying to gain access to the post office as part of a robbery.
Nobody was in the premises at the time of the incident and no money or items were stolen.
