THE jobs and emigration crisis has led one rural GAA club to propose a novel solution to players leaving.
Oughterard GAA Club in Co Galway wants the GAA authorities to appoint a careers officer to find work for young players. Delegates will propose the motion at the Galway County GAA Board convention tonight.
The club said: "we have lost a few lads to emigration in the last four or five years."
