THE victims of the Skerries fishing tragedy will be buried today and tomorrow after their remains were discovered over the weekend.
The funeral of David Gilsenan (41), a father of two children aged six and nine, will take place today at 1pm at St Maur's Church in Rush, Co Dublin, followed by burial to Whitestown cemetery in Rush village.
Ronan Browne's funeral will take place tomorrow in St Patrick's Church, Skerries, Co Dublin, before his burial in Ardla cemetery in Skerries. The 26-year-old had married just last October.
There was relief that the bodies of the friends had been found together at the same time. The two experienced fishermen were found in the early hours of Saturday morning by a fishing boat trawling off Clogherhead in Co Louth.
