Madeline Mulqueen is proof that appearing in a Rubberbandits video can do wonders for your career.
The Limerick model shot to prominence as the flirtatious bridesmaid in the Bandits’ Horse Outside video. Since then, Madeline has gone on to achieve fame of her own.
The 24-year-old became the country’s most sought after model after appearing alongside Blindboy Boat Club and Mr Chrome. She later joked she would buy a horse herself if the video reached number one.
The song never topped the charts, peaking at number two — but this did not stop Madeline’s rise. She has posed in high-profile campaigns for The African Shirt Company and other designers.
Madeline is engaged to film star Jack Reynor (22) and has spent much of this year jetting around the world on a promotional tour for her fiance’s Transformers film.
The couple announced their engagement in March and plan on having an Irish wedding. They are currently taking a break before Jack goes back to work on his next film.
Jack is currently preparing to shoot a movie adaptation of Macbeth with fellow Irish actor Michael Fassbender.
