Now's the time to get into the Christmas spirit as there will be free travel on the Luas for anyone wearing a Christmas jumper on Sunday November 27.

There's no need to buy a Luas ticket or Touch On your Leap Card just show your Christmas jumper if Luas staff ask for your ticket.

This is part of the "2016 Geansaí Nollag World Record Attempt" where Dublin city council hope to break a world record for the number of people wearing a Christmas jumper.

The record attempt will take place during the switching on of the O'Connell street Christmas lights on Sunday November 27.
