Former Central Remedial Clinic chief executive Brian Conlan agrees to appear before Dail Public Accounts Committee.

Mr Conlan retired as CEO early this week, before officials from the CRC earlier this week to answer questions on top up salary payments at the organisation.

He is expected to appear before the committee early in the new year.

Mr Conlan contacted the committee this evening to say he was prepared to give evidence to the Committee.

He said he was just back from three weeks holidays and he had no access to his official papers.

Mr Conlan said he needs two or three weeks to prepare his evidence.

The Dail PAC has welcomed Mr Conlan’s decision.
