FOOTBALL fans are invited to join John Giles to take to the streets to help raise funds for clubs and sporting communities.
The Walk of Dreams is fundraising event organised by the John Giles Foundation in association with 3, the Irish Independent and the 'Evening Herald'.
The foundation is calling on all footballing clubs and fans across the country to come together and demonstrate the importance of the game in everyday life.
The walks will be led by members of the senior Irish international football squad as well as celebrities including Jedward, Ryan Tubridy and Bill O'Herlihy.
Half of all the money raised by each club will be theirs to keep and the other half will go to the John Giles Foundation.
The walk will take place on Sunday March 27 at 3pm in 14 locations across Ireland. The biggest walk will be in Dublin, ending at the Aviva Stadium. See www.johngilesfoundation. com for details and to register.
