Flight en route to Dublin declares emergency over Irish Sea

A flight en route to Dublin Airport this morning declared an emergency this morning while over the Irish Sea.
The CityJet Flight 112 reported a technical problem ahead of its landing in Dublin.
Dublin Airport Authority were in contact with the plane before its arrival.
A Dublin Airport Authority spokesperson told Independent.ie that the plane was given precedence on its approach to the airport, which is part of their standard procedure.
"All precautions were taken and a full turnout of Dublin Fire Service were in attendance for the flight's landing," the spokesperson said.
"The flight landed safely and no further action was necessary."
