A Delta Airlines flight en route from Frankfurt to Detroit has been diverted at the Dublin Airport after cabin crew reportedly complained of fumes on board.

The Boeing 767-400 jet, with 245 passengers and 12 crew landed at 11:45am today as a precautionary measure.

The Dublin Fire Brigade said a number of cabin crew on board flight DL 143 were treated at the scene.

None of the passengers were injured and they deplaned normally, according to a spokesperson for Delta Airlines.

They are now awaiting a new departure time

A spokesman for the Dublin Airport Authority said the diversion was due to a ventilation problem with the aircraft.
