Family plea for return of tragic teen's iPhone

THE family of a young man who died when he fell from a wall has appealed for the return of his phone containing the last ever pictures taken of him.

Caolan Page (19) suffered serious head injuries when he was found unconscious on Magazine Street in Derry city centre in the early hours of October 14 last.

He died two days later.

Despite an extensive search by his family and police, his iPhone was never found.

It contains hundreds of pictures of him, as well as his family and friends.

His stepfather Martin Dillon said: "We're not sure what exactly is on the phone but we know that Caolan took a lot of pictures. It would mean so much for us to get them back. It would be something special just to get the phone or just the SIM card with the pictures on it."

Anybody who has the phone has been asked to post it anonymously to Martin Dillon, Killea, Lifford, Co Donegal.
