Fake Apple goods worth thousands seized in raid
GARDAI have seized counterfeit goods, including fake Apple iPods and iPhones worth tens of thousands of euro, following a raid on a house in south
Gardai searched a house in Knocklyon, Dublin, yesterday and seized counterfeit goods with an approximate value of €40,000 to €50,000.
The goods seized included fake Apple iPods, Apple iPhones, Nintento DS games, Microsoft Office 2010, MS Excel and Norton Security software.
The investigation is linked to the sale and distribution of counterfeit goods via the internet through various Irish websites.
A 33-year-old man has been arrested and is being detained at Raheny garda station under Section 4 Criminal Justice Act 1984.
