A panel of journalists from our sports team sat down to identify the outstanding Irish players since 1962 and then rate them in order from 1-50.

Find out our verdict and enjoy footage of the key protagonists in action for Ireland, classic photographs and video of our team discussing the merits of the major players in more detail.
