THE annual National Parents Council post-primary (NPCpp) Leaving Cert results helpline (1800 265 165) will run again this year, starting on Wednesday August 17.
Guidance counsellors will be available to offer valuable information and advice to students and their parents on any issues that may arise around the time of the results.
The helpline is sponsored by eircom and the Irish Independent, with the support of the Department of Education and Skills.
Pictured (from left to right) at the launch of the helpline yesterday were: Rose Tully; Jackie O'Callaghan and Alan Mulligan (all NPCpp); Education Minister Ruairi Quinn; Katherine Donnelly, Irish Independent; and Lisa Comerford, eircom.
