Police are hunting a gang who ransacked and robbed a day centre for adults with learning disabilities.
Three televisions, two CD players and a camera were stolen from the Everton Centre on Belfast's Crumlin Road.
Damage was also caused to the inside of the premises.
DUP MLA William Humphrey described the attack as a senseless act of vandalism, and said those responsible should examine their conscience.
Mr Humphrey said: "Any burglary is upsetting, but to target a day centre for people with learning disabilities is utterly disgraceful and beneath contempt.
"This centre is a place of solace and support for vulnerable adults and their families. Those who carried out this burglary have violated this special space of safety.
"It has caused disruption and upset for the vulnerable adults who attend the centre, for their families and for the staff and management."
The incident, which happened overnight, was reported to police at about 8am on Tuesday.
A spokesman for the PSNI appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
