The Government has scheduled Dail time to debate the Banking Inquiry report on Thursday in a move that further suggests that Taoiseach Enda Kenny is preparing to call the General Election next week.
A Coalition source today confirmed that just 90 minutes will be set aside to debate the report, which is due to be published by the Inquiry team tomorrow.
But the decision to discuss the findings on Thursday has fuelled speculation that Mr Kenny will dissolve the Dail next week.
"It's the final major job of work to get through," a coalition source said.
