Emigrants miss Taytos most of all, survey finds
TAYTO crisps are the food most missed by emigrants followed by Kerrygold butter, Cadbury's chocolate and Barry's Tea.
A total of 61pc said they missed Taytos while 54pc felt the same way about Kerrygold and at least half pined for Cadbury's and Barry's tea, according to a 'Checkout' magazine survey.
Denny rashers and sausages were also high on the list, with Guinness, Jacob's biscuits, Galtee sausages and Brennan's and McCambridge's bread also featuring.
Lyons Tea, produced in England by Unilever, also ranked as one of the brands most missed when abroad.
Emigrants also rated the products available in Ireland better when it came to stout, rashers, butter, meat, sausages and milk.
