Emergency services pull man from River Liffey

Paramedics tried to resuscitate a man who was pulled from the River Liffey near the East Link bridge in Dublin last night.
The man, believed to be in his late 20s, was spotted in the river by a passerby, around 9:30pm.
Several units of the Dublin Fire Brigade from the North Strand and Tara Street stations attended the scene.
A team of paramedics performed CPR on the man who was unconscious when he was pulled from the river.
He was taken to the nearby Mater Hospital. His condition was not known last night.
