Emergency crews successfully deliver baby boy at home Newsdesk Newsdesk

This emergency crew has plenty to smile about. Last night, they helped to safely deliver a baby boy in North Dublin.

At around 9.40pm yesterday, Dublin Fire Brigade rushed to the boy's mother's home to come to her assistance.

Soon afterwards the the little boy was safely delivered thanks to a joint effort by Dublin fire crews and National Ambulance Service staff.

Mother and baby were then taken to the Rotunda hospital in Dublin, and are said to be doing well.
