Waterford: Wyse become's one of the country's youngest new councillors

Fianna Fail’s Adam Wyse who will celebrate his 2oth birthday next week has become one of the youngest new councillors in the country following his election to the new Waterford city and county council.

He joins the 32-membercouncil following  in the footsteps of his father, Gary who died suddenly last October.

The new Council is made up of just five females, Lola O’Sullivan (FG),Breda Brennan and Siobhan Whelan of Sinn Fein, Mary Roche, and Mary Butler (FF).

The new council is made up of nine Independents, 8 FF, 8Fg, 6 SF and one Labour representative.
