Limerick County Council latest: FG cllr takes fourth last seat

A FINE Gael Councillor has taken the fourth last seat on Limerick's new local authority.
Stephen Keary was elected in the Adare-Rathkeale electoral area on the third count.
Counting is continuing to fill the remaining three seats on the new merged council.
So far Fianna Fáil has eleven seats while Fine Gael has twelve.
Sinn Fein has seen five of its six candidates elected and the party could still take a sixth seat in the Adare-Rathkeale electoral area.
The Labour Party has three seats with no candidates left in the running while the Anti Austerity Alliance Party also saw three councillors elected and its final candidate now been eliminated.
Three Independents have been elected to the 40 seat council.
