Glencullen/Sandyford: First count

Labour led the way in the Glencullen/ Sandyford ward with Lettie McCarthy topping the polls and recieving 1,577 votes in the first count.

McCarthy topped the poll with Fine Gael's Neale Richmond coming in second with. 1,168.

Both candidates have secured seats in Rathdown/ Dun Laoighaire county council.

Chris Curran of Sinn Fein received 961 votes with Independent candidate Kevin Daly obtaining 793.

Fianna Fail's Tom Murphy recieved 707 of the votes while Labour's Peter O'Brien came in sixth with 644.
