THE election may only be a week old -- but already Eamon O Cuiv is feeling the effects.
The final straw for the Social Protection Minister came when Fianna Fail launched its manifesto on political reform yesterday -- and he felt the need to take a quick doze.
Mr O Cuiv was apologetic afterwards, blaming "four hours' sleep last night, canvassing on Inis Mor, meetings all evening, Dublin very late, and in the Dail at 7.45am".
