The Leaving Certificate results will be released next Wednesday, followed some days later by the CAO offers.

As usual, the Irish Independent, in partnership with the National Parents Council post primary (NPCpp), the Department of Education and Skills, and Eircom, is hosting a unique helpline (1800 265 165) to assist school-leavers, and their parents/guardians.

Members of the Institute of Guidance Counsellors will staff Helpline 2015, providing information and advice to callers about the many issues that arise at this time.

The helpline opening hours are: Wednesday, August 12/Thursday August 13 (10am-7pm); Friday August 14 (10am-1pm); Monday August 17/Tuesday August 18 (8am-7pm); Wednesday August 19 (8am-1pm).
