The wait is nearly over and more than 58,500 Leaving Certificate students will receive their results tomorrow.

As usual, the National Parents Council post primary (NPCpp) helpline will be open to offer expert advice and support.

The freephone helpline - 1800 265 165 - is sponsored by the Irish Independent, the Department of Education and Skills and Eir, and is staffed by members of the Institute of Guidance Counsellors and a representative of the grants agency, Susi.

The helpline will open tomorrow from 10am-7pm and will run for a further five days, when counsellors will deal with caller queries about the full range of issues that arise for students and parents at this time.

There will also be a live Q&A session with a guidance counsellor tomorrow on independent.ie.

Questions can be sent to contact@independent.ie or #indoexams
