Case study: Students say Accounting was doable, ‘with no big surprises’

Leaving Cert students at Coláiste Iognáid in Galway gave a resoundingly positive response to the Higher Level Accounting paper yesterday.

A total of 25 students at the school sat the exam.

Emily Naughton (18), from Knocknacarra, was more than happy with the outcome.

"I think it was fair and there were no big surprises," she said.

Jack Colbert (18), from Knocknacarra, who represents Ireland in para powerlifting, was relieved to have his final exam behind him. He said: "I'm happy with how it went but I don't plan to use accountancy again. I hope to study psychology at NUI." Galway."
