Dunnes Stores in Gorey to reopen from tomorrow despite injunction

Staff in Dunnes Stores in Gorey have been told by management that the store is to reopen from tomorrow.
It is understood the company will open the shop for two months pending a future High Court date relating to an access door.
Earlier, a two month stay has been placed on a High Court injunction linked to the closure of the branch.

Mr Justice Brian McGovern granted the injunction preventing Dunnes Stores from using the door that directly opened onto the car park as an entrance to the store.
It was also ordered that the only entrance that could be used was the main entrance to the shopping centre.
