Dunne's ex-wife hires lawyer to monitor bid for US bankruptcy
THE ex-wife of broke developer Sean Dunne has hired a lawyer to monitor his bid for bankruptcy in the United States.
Jennifer Coyle, who divorced Mr Dunne in 2001, is named in the latest filing to the US bankruptcy court.
Her lawyer, Michael Enright, has requested that all notices and papers in the case be sent to his office in Hartford, Connecticut.
Ms Coyle is the fifth new party to be listed in the case since Mr Dunne filed for bankruptcy in the US at the end of March with debts of $942m (€730m).
Others represented in the proceedings include NAMA, Ulster Bank and Irish Life.
Mr Dunne and Ms Coyle had three children together before their divorce.
He married Ms Killilea in 2004 in a lavish ceremony in the Mediterranean.
Guests included rugby player Ronan O'Gara and former bank boss Michael Fingleton.
Ms Coyle could not be contacted last night.
Her lawyer, Mr Enright, said he had "no comment" when asked about taking on the role.
