The Dublin Port Tunnel was partially closed earlier today as a result of a vehicle collision, restricting northbound traffic.
Gardai told commuters to expect delays on the roads near to Dublin Port and East Wall Rd.
AA Roadwatch later tweeted that northbound traffic was allowed to flow but was reduced to a single lane.
The incident follows a series of delays this morning as commuters battled the treacherous roads following Storm Darwin last night.
Many drivers faced fallen trees and debris in the aftermath of the storm as they travelled to work.
A number of Irish Rail services were substantially delayed or cancelled, with bus services required on some routes.
"All lanes of northbound bore of Dublin Port Tunnel are back open," AA Roadwatch added, as any obstruction was cleared.
No-one was injured in the collision, which gardai have described as "minor - and unfortunately a daily occurence".
