Dublin Fire Brigade battling massive blaze at Dublin recycling plant

Five pumper trucks and a mobile command unit of the Dublin Fire Brigade are battling a massive fire at the Panda Waste Recycling plant on Cappagh Road in Finglas tonight.

There are no reported injuries.

However a spokesman for the DFB said the fire is quite big and involves rubbish and other waste material that is burning out of control.

The DFB is also battling a large gorse fire in the Dublin mountains.

Six units of the brigade have been battling the blaze near Barnacullia on Three Rock Mountain.

A water tanker has also been dispatched to tackle the blaze.
