DSPCA seized 13 puppies and five female dogs from the back of a rental van at Dublin Port.
The 13 puppies are seven-weeks-old and are a mixture of cross breed terriers and collies.
The DSPCA said they are "very concerned" about the five adult female dogs, none of which are neutered and all of which are of breeding age.
This is the third seizure in the past six days from Dublin Port.
The DSPCA are asking the public to share these photos in the hope of identifying the origin of these dogs.
The dogs consist of three terrier cross females about three/four years of age, a very small sized female German Pointer aged about nine months and a female Springer Spaniel aged about three-years-old. The dogs with the exception of the German pointer all appear to have had litters.
If anyone has lost a female dog matching these photos, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your contact phone number and photo of your missing dog.
The DSPCA thanked the gardaí for their vigilance and dedication.
