A man has been pulled from a vehicle during a carjacking in West Belfast.

He was stopped at a zebra crossing on Kennedy Way shortly before 5.45am when he was targeted by three men.

The grey BMW car was found burnt out in the Mill Race area of Ballymurphy a short time later.

The driver was not physically injured but has been left badly shaken.

Detective Sergeant Conor Sweeney from the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has appealed for information.

"I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident or saw this vehicle being driven between Kennedy Way and Mill Race to contact detectives at reactive and organised crime at Musgrave on the non-emergency number 101."
