Former Miss World Rosanna Davison's dream of becoming a "domestic goddess" moved a step closer yesterday when she purchased a home with her long-time boyfriend.
But the stunning model won't be too far away from dad, singer Chris De Burgh, as her and boyfriend Wesley Quirke's new dream house is just "10 to 15 minutes away" from her old family home.
"For security reasons I'd rather not say exactly where it is. What I can tell you is that it's a little closer to town but at the same time, close enough to mum and dad so I can keep popping around," Rosanna told the Irish Independent.
However, the striking brunette said herself and Wesley, her boyfriend of four years, had "no marriage plans".
"No. There's no announcements planned except maybe one to say we're having a little house warming party for friends and family over New Year," said Rosanna.
The 26-year-old let the news slip last night when she tweeted followers on the social networking site Twitter; "Just signed the dotted line with Wesley Quirke for our new home. Hooray! Now have to figure out how to become a domestic goddess...."
Rosanna revealed she already had furniture for the new home.
"I've an apartment so I'll be moving my stuff over as well as going out buying new furniture with Wes. We've been looking for a house for a while.
"It was a case of just finding the home at the right price," she said.
Rosanna is currently working on illustrations for a sequel to the children's book she produced with author Marisa Mackle last year, 'The Girl in the Yellow Dress'.
