Two viable improvised explosive devices were made safe by an Army bomb disposal team in Dublin last night.
The find was made on waste ground at the end of Harristown Lane, Finglas.
Ordnance officers did not have to carry out a controlled explosion and the devices were taken away for further examination at a military location.
After a detailed check, they will then be handed over to the gardai.
The area was declared safe after little more than an hour.
