COMEDIAN Jim Davidson has pulled out of 'Celebrity Big Brother' after being arrested by detectives investigating the Jimmy Savile sex-abuse allegations.
Mr Davidson (59) was released on bail on Wednesday night after he had vigorously denied claims by two women that date back about 25 years, according to his solicitor, Henri Brandman.
He was arrested after flying into Heathrow Airport on Wednesday for what was anticipated to be an appearance in the Big Brother house for the start of the new series last night.
He was not included in a list of participants that was released by Channel Five yesterday.
The line-up includes drug-ban horseracing champion Frankie Dettori; former 'Steps' star Claire Richards; 'X Factor' contestant Rylan Clark and former football star Neil 'Razor' Ruddock.
