AN IRISH father of three collapsed and died of a heart attack after dancing to the chart hit 'Gangnam Style' at his office Christmas party.
Eamonn Kilbride (pictured), from Blackburn in Lancashire, had just finished an energetic routine imitating Korean popstar PSY when he complained of chest pains and suddenly collapsed.
His wife Julie was with him at the time and immediately tried to revive him.
Mr Kilbride (46) was rushed to hospital where he was later pronounced dead. A post- mortem operation found that he had suffered acute heart failure.
Mr Kilbride, who has family in Dublin, moved to the UK in 1985 and was an IT services manager at brewers Daniel Thwaites.
Mrs Kilbride, who was also celebrating her birthday at the party, paid tribute to a "loving husband".
She said: "I want people to know how he would help anybody whether it was a life-long friend, or someone he had just met. He was a great family man and he worked so hard.
"Eamonn was always the life of the party and loved dancing. We were having a fantastic time at the Christmas party and Eamonn had just finished dancing to 'Gangnam Style'. He was on stage and entertaining everybody.
"He said he had a bit of a pain and just collapsed. I tried to revive him until the ambulance got there, but by the time he got to the hospital he was gone."
The couple have three children – Laura Jade (22), Jack (21) and Conor (18).
