Cyclists can take their bikes on weekend and off-peak DART and commuter train services free of charge after restrictions on taking bikes on to train services were lifted.
Bikes will be carried for free all day Saturday and Sunday on Dublin's DART and commuter and Cork commuter services, as well as between 10am and 3.30pm and after 7pm during the week.
Bicycle spaces can also be booked on intercity services for €6 per journey.
Meanwhile, full DART services will resume between Dun Laoghaire and Bray this morning after new track was laid over Christmas.
