Cyclist dies in hospital following collision with a car

A man has died in hospital following a collision between a car and a bicycle in Castletroy, Limerick.

The man, in his 40s, was a cyclist in the incident that took place on Wednesday afternoon at approximately 2pm.

He was in collision with a car at the Kilmurry Road roundabout in the Castletroy area.

The driver of the car was not injured.

The man died in hospital today.
