Man questioned over fatal stabbing of father released
A man questioned by gardaí over the fatal stabbing of a man in Tallaght at the weekend has been released.
Father-of-one Graham McKeever (32) was discovered unconscious with several stab wounds to his body outside an apartment block in Deerpark Avenue, Tallaght at 4.40am on Saturday morning.
A man aged in his early 40s was arrested by Gardaí attached to the Tallaght District Detective Unit on Sunday evening.
He was detained at Tallaght Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
Gardaí have confirmed that he has now been released and a file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
A woman, aged in her 30s was also in the apartment at the time of the attack but is not believed to have been seriously injured.
