The five-day event will feature over 500 craft workers and over 120 artisan food producers. The fair is anticipated to generate more than €1m per day in sales

Must-see exhibitors include 'Game of Thrones' textile artist Emma Andrews, former RTÉ DJ-turned jewellery designer Jenny Huston, Academy Award nominees Cartoon Saloon and former banker turned goldsmith Helena Malone. "It is a fantastic fair, I spend a fortune at it myself," Emma Andrews told the Irish Independent. "There is a great variety of fantastic work."

Minister for Business and Employment Ged Nash said the event is a time to get Christmas shopping done and to contribute to local economies.

"This annual fair is vital to the industry as a whole," he said.
